This unit develops pupils' knowledge of shell structures. They will critique the packaging of a given product and investigate the sustainability of materials, to create a new packaging design considering its environmental impact.

Mistake: Packaging has always been the same. Correction: Packaging has developed over time. The rise in plastic use has seen plastic replacing glass, increased use of recycled paper/card, less use of wooden crates used in the past.
