The unit of work will explore what makes an effective team through different problem-solving tasks and challenges. Throughout the unit, there will be a focus on pupils developing their communication skills, essential to working within a team to complete the challenges successfully.
You will learn to collaborate and communicate effectively in a team to create simple attacking and defending tactics.
Move: when attacking and defending, we need to be fast and agile to be more successful as a team. Think: collaborating in between games to develop attacking and defensive tactics improves our team's performance.

Mistake: Pupils disregard their tactics once they start playing the game, getting distracted by everything else that is going on in the game. Correction: Ensure pupils understand their tactics and make an effort to use them during the game. Highlight and praise pupils that manage this.
