The unit of work will explore what makes an effective team through different problem-solving tasks and challenges. Throughout the unit, there will be a focus on pupils developing their communication skills, essential to working within a team to complete the challenges successfully.
You will learn to communicate effectively with your teammates and develop different ways of communicating.
Move: reacting quickly and moving fast helps us to successfully complete the challenges. Think: a successful team communicates, listens, shares ideas and supports each other when we make mistakes.

Mistake: Pupils believe that effective communication only involves speaking clearly to someone. Correction: Ensure pupils understand that communication works two ways. Speaking clearly is important, however listening attentively is equally important to ensure the information is received.
