Year 6 - Art and design
Creative careers: critical and contextual
Pupils will learn about different jobs within the creative industries. They will investigate and find out what a range of individuals all do in their day to day lives. They will carry out research and record their findings in creative visual formats working to the theme of 'festival'.
You will learn to create content to promote your festival event.
A content creator is a person who makes and shares media to inform, entertain or inspire an audience, often online. When promoting an event, it is important to be honest and transparent about what the event is really like.
someone who makes and shares media to inform, entertain or inspire an audience, often online.
Mistake: A content creator must always promote an event through posters and videos to be successful. Correction: Remind children that while posters and videos are useful, an event can also be successfully promoted through spoken messages, social media, or written adverts. The key is to share clear and engaging information, not just the format used.
