Pupils will learn about different jobs within the creative industries. They will investigate and find out what a range of individuals all do in their day to day lives. They will carry out research and record their findings in creative visual formats working to the theme of 'festival'.
You will learn to design a logo for a festival.
A graphic designer arranges visual elements in different ways to convey a message to an audience. Examples of graphic design can be found throughout everyday life.

Mistake: It is not important to consider the identity of the festival when creating your logo. Correction: Remind children that graphic designers should consider the unique character of their festival when creating their logo, so they can visually represent the ethos of the event in their design.
