Clear messaging in digital media
In this unit pupils will use a range of skills across several pieces of software. They will work between applications to create a poster and slides on a given theme. The unit is designed so that pupils can apply skills that they may have previously learnt as well as those learnt in the unit.
You will learn to identify the features of a poster.
Annotation can be used to communicate thoughts and ideas. A poster should clearly convey its message through clear visual design.

Mistake: Posters and signs should include lots of text information for the viewer to read. Correction: Posters and signs should avoid too much detail when using text and images. This helps to clearly get a message across to the viewer at a glance and does not rely on them having to spend time looking at the detail.
