This unit teaches pupils about the physical processes that help explain our weather and climate. Pupils will use fieldwork to investigate weather in their local area. Pupils will also learn about how and why our climate is changing.
You will learn to understand the reasons why the climate of the UK varies.
The UK has a temperate maritime climate, which means that it is mild with lots of rainfall. The south of the UK is warmer than the North.
