Invasion games: basic tactics to overcome opponents through futsal
This unit will build on fundamental skills and apply tactics to overcome opponents through futsal. Development of basic ball control, passing, shooting, dribbling, marking and tackling skills with determination in small sided games. Pupils will learn the rules of futsal and names of major muscles.
You will learn to shoot with accuracy and control.
Move: a solid base is needed with the non striking foot next to the ball, to shoot with the instep or top of the foot. Move: keeping your head over the ball helps keep the ball down when shooting.

Mistake: Pupils may often focus on power rather than accuracy when shooting. They may also make poor decisions with regards to shooting when under pressure such as facing a goalkeeper or a defender. Correction: Focus on accuracy over power, working on aiming for specific targets. Pupils should practise shooting under pressure to help them make good decisions.
