Inclusive sports: teamship, communication and awareness of others
This unit explores how to measure success beyond the outcomes of competition, how to balance competition, and how to ensure games are inclusive, respectful, supportive and engaging for all. Pupils will develop their teamship skills through improved communication, empathy and awareness of others.
You will learn to respectfully participate in balanced competition.
Move: taking smaller steps and keeping a low centre of mass when cornering in a slalom will help to maintain balance. Think: to overcome conditions that are placed upon an individual or a team, problem solving and teamwork is required.
