Inclusive sports: teamship, communication and awareness of others
This unit explores how to measure success beyond the outcomes of competition, how to balance competition, and how to ensure games are inclusive, respectful, supportive and engaging for all. Pupils will develop their teamship skills through improved communication, empathy and awareness of others.
You will learn to use a range of strategies to motivate others.
Move: fully extending your body parallel to the goal provides the maximum amount of protection to prevent a goal. Think: explaining the rules to others and supporting them to stay within them supports inclusion and fairness.

Mistake: If you can't see the outcome of your performance, you are unable to learn how to improve. Correction: Receiving feedback from teammates and other pupils about your performance will enable you to learn and make progress.
