- Urban: Urban is a word to describe a town or city, or certain properties of towns and cities.
- Area: The area is the size of the surface and states the number of unit squares needed to completely cover that surface.
- Truncate: Simplifying a number by 'cutting off' one or more of the digits and replacing them with zeros if necessary to preserve place value.
Common Mistakes To Avoid
- When performing divisions to calculate the maximum number of plants that fit into a space, pupils may round decimal answers up to the nearest integer (e.g. round 4.5 plants up to 5 plants).
