A percentage is a proportion of a whole. Use this word when showing your method, then check your final answer is reasonable.
Mistake: Pupils may be unfamiliar with train timetables and how to interpret them. Correction: Each column of times can be given a header of Train 1, Train 2 etc. This will make it clearer that the times in a column refer to when that train will reach a station.
