Remote learning: an introduction to target games
The unit of work will develop pupils' ability to accurately send a ball towards a target. Pupils will learn and apply their developing knowledge of where we send a ball and why, in order to score points to beat an opponent.
You will learn to send different objects using different parts of your body towards a target.
Move: accurately sending objects towards a target requires using the correct technique for kicking and rolling. Think: knowing how to roll a ball accurately using the correct technique requires concentration.

Mistake: Some pupils may think they have to push the ball very hard to make it roll accurately. Correction: Using a gentle, controlled push helps the ball roll in a straight line.
