Remote learning: an introduction to target games
The unit of work will develop pupils' ability to accurately send a ball towards a target. Pupils will learn and apply their developing knowledge of where we send a ball and why, in order to score points to beat an opponent.
You will learn to throw underarm accurately and keep your score.
Move: an underarm throw requires stepping forwards with the opposite foot to your throwing arm and a low to high swing. Think: choosing the right tactic based on the game requires concentration.

Mistake: Throwing with the same foot forward as the throwing hand. Correction: Use the opposite foot to the throwing hand for better balance and accuracy.
