Unit Summary

The unit of work will develop pupils' ability to accurately send a ball towards a target. Pupils will learn and apply their developing knowledge of where we send a ball and why, in order to score points to beat an opponent.

Lesson Summary

You will learn to vary the power you apply to your throws in order to accurately strike targets at varying distances.

Key Notes

  • Move: successfully throwing towards targets that are at different distances requires varying levels of power.
  • Think: apply more or less power to a throw, based on the distance of the target, requires concentration.
