Remote learning: an introduction to target games
The unit of work will develop pupils' ability to accurately send a ball towards a target. Pupils will learn and apply their developing knowledge of where we send a ball and why, in order to score points to beat an opponent.
You will learn to throw accurately towards a range of different targets while playing against an opponent.
Move: maintaining accuracy when playing against an opponent requires throwing with control. Think: concentration helps us to focus on the target when we are competing against an opponent.

Mistake: You can only be competitive if you are against someone else. Correction: You can also be competitive against yourslef by trying to beat your last score or best number of points so far.
