This unit utilises a thematic approach to provide pupils with a platform to apply knowledge from other subject areas. This will enable them to develop movement ideas beyond those introduced. Open ended tasks encourage and value a range of responses continuing to build creativity and teamwork.
You will learn to create and combine ideas to communicate a theme.
Move: applying different dynamics accurately allows us to communicate different themes. Think: finding a variety of possible responses to a stimulus involves imagination.

Mistake: Pupils don't like dancing. Correction: Whilst no activity is attractive to everyone, most pupils enjoy dance when the tasks are open ended. This gives them the opportunity to input their own ideas and perform actions thay are comfortable with.
