Using IT in project management
Project management has numerous transferable skills for pupils, from simple time management to structured project management techniques. In this unit pupils will have the opportunity to develop invaluable skills in using common software tools and systems used for project management.
You will learn to identify the user requirements and constraints of a project and use these to develop project documentation.
A project brief is analysed to determine what the project is about and what needs to be completed. User requirements are the features or outcomes the client expects from the project.

Mistake: You cannot prevent things from going wrong in a project. Correction: Things can be done to prevent negative things happening during a project - these are called mitigations.
