Target games: experience lifestyle games like golf and kubb
This unit will develop pupils' awareness of and ability to seek joy in lifestyle target games they can access in the community. Pupils will be supported to manage their emotions and apply mental preparation to closed skills to maximise performance.
You will learn to compete against an opponent and apply the correct technique for a variety of shots in order to win the game.
Move: applying the correct technique for putting and chipping leads to accurate shots. Think: deciding where to aim a shot in order to avoid the hazards requires careful planning and strategic thinking.

Mistake: Pupils think we only get a penalty stroke if we break a rule. Correction: Explain to pupils that a a penalty stroke is an extra stroke added to your score as a result of breaking a rule or hitting the ball into certain areas.
