This unit will develop pupils' awareness of and ability to seek joy in lifestyle target games they can access in the community. Pupils will be supported to manage their emotions and apply mental preparation to closed skills to maximise performance.
You will learn to demonstrate the grip, stance and swing basics using the correct technique.
Move: gripping requires the lead hand on the handle, the trail hand overlaps to interlock the pinky of the lead hand. Move: a fluid and rhythmical backswing, downswing and follow through increases the success of our shots.

Mistake: To hit the ball in golf, you lift your head up to look at the target. Correction: Explain to pupils that in order to hit the ball successfully you need to keep your head down and focused on the ball.
