Ball skills: passing, dribbling and scoring
This unit will challenge pupils to use their dribbling, passing and receiving skills to keep possession and score. Pupils will develop their accurate underarm throwing and explore throwing overarm. Pupils will apply these skills in a variety of activities as they develop their motor competence.
You will learn to dribble and pass the ball accurately to help your team score points.
Move: dribbling the ball effectively requires you to look up and find space away from defenders. Move: passing the ball accurately to a teammate helps your team to keep possession of the ball.

Mistake: When dribbling using their hands, pupils use the tips of their fingers or their palms to push the ball towards the floor. Correction: Ensure pupils are using the flat part of their fingertips to push the ball towards the floor.
