This unit will develop pupils' ability to apply effective teamwork, ensuring that everyone is included and understands their role. Pupils will begin to develop and apply simple strategies to solve problems with a focus on applying effective collaboration skills when working as part of a team.

Mistake: Some pupils might think that trying your best means doing every role within a team. Correction: Trying to do everything for a team is admirable, but one person can get tired quickly and someone else might also be more skilled at doing it. If everyone gives their best effort in their role, the combined effort can be very successful.
