During this unit, pupils develop their understanding of information technology and digital literacy skills. They will use the skills learnt across the unit to create a blog post about a real-world cause that they would like to gain support for.
You will learn to research and use content ethically to avoid plagiarism.
Plagiarism is using someone else's work or ideas without giving them proper credit. Referencing techniques are used to credit sources and avoid plagiarism.

Mistake: If I change a few words from a website and use it as my own work it's not plagiarism. Correction: Changing a few words isn't enough. Plagiarism is using someone's ideas without credit. Even if you rephrase, you must reference the original source.
