Net and wall games: tactics and strategies in volleyball
This unit will build core skills and develop the use of game tactics to outwit opponents in pressurised situations. Pupils will sharpen their team working skills with a focus on managing conflict and generating the conditions for a great game regardless of the skill level of the participants.
You will learn to attempt an overarm serve and spike the ball in a game situation.
Move: transferring your bodyweight forward will add power to a serve. Move: you should strike the ball with the heel of your hand for a serve and spike.

Mistake: Pupils think serving speed is the most important factor to an effective serve. Correction: The reality of a successful serve is placement and consistency.
