This unit covers the importance of exercise, balanced nutrition, and hygiene for humans. It involves performing simple tests, observing closely, and identifying and classifying information. Emphasis is on asking questions, using observations to suggest answers, and gathering and recording data.
You will learn to describe why it is important for humans to exercise.
It is important for humans to live a healthy life. Exercise is one way for humans to become and stay healthy.
A plant or animal is healthy if it is in a state of well-being and free from disease. Include the word in a full scientific explanation, not as a single label.
Mistake: Household chores are not examples of physical activity but sports, running and climbing are. Playing, dancing and walking are not fitness activities. Correction: Examples of a variety of different physical activities.
