Persuasion is the action or process of trying to change someone's mind or behaviour or convince them about something. Persuasion can be found all around us and is used to achieve a variety of purposes.

Mistake: Children might think that an advert is always to sell a product. Correction: Expose children to a variety of adverts that have different purposes, e.g. to change behaviour (environment, diet, health, etc.).
