This unit is a thematic approach drawing upon personal experiences to consolidate and deepen their knowledge and understanding of Action-Space-Dynamics-Relationships to create, develop and analyse ideas, motifs and dances. They will use similarities and differences to form connections and contrast.
You will learn to create a motif involving a range of actions and use a variety of methods to develop it.
Move: being able to perform a range of actions in different ways improves competency. Think: making choices involves reflecting on the options.

Mistake: Pupils should 'count' the music. Correction: Whilst some pupils can count music accurately, it can be an additional level of challenge for others and divert them from the task in hand. Most pupils will naturally 'feel' the music and be able to respond to the tempo and rhythm appropriately.
