Year 1 - Computing
Creating animations in programs
In this unit pupils are introduced to on-screen programming through ScratchJr. Pupils will explore the way a project looks onscreen by investigating sprites and backgrounds. They will use programming blocks to use, modify, and create programs that move objects.
You will learn to change the value in a command block and explain its effect.
Some command blocks can have number values on them. Values can be changed, causing different effects.
to remove something on a screen. Add one real device or system example to prove understanding.
Mistake: The value is always how many times the command should run. Correction: Different values cause different effects depending on the underlying command. These might not always be numerical values either.
