Textiles
Pupils learn about biomimicry and innovation. They will learn how to use sources of inspiration to create a range of ideas for a product encouraging children to grow vegetables. The pupils will develop ideas and manufacture a prototype. Variation allows for different material outcomes.
You will learn to use hand tools and workshop machinery to safely manufacture designs.
Hand tools such as fabric scissors and stitching by hand can be used to accurately manufacture. Machinery, such as a sewing machine, can be used to fabricate materials.
