Year 10 - Design and technology
Systems approach to design: Sustainable Futures
Pupils will develop knowledge of electronic components and a systems approach to designing. They will learn about different components and use these to build and test circuits for different purposes. They will design a system to control a greenhouse environment, considering the different variables.
You will learn to add physical materials to parts, change their appearance and create photorealistic renders using Fusion.
Physical materials and appearances can be assigned to components in Fusion. Adding physical materials alters a component's properties.
applies both visual and material properties to components.
Mistake: Adding physical materials to components in Fusion is for aesthetic purposes only. Correction: Adding physical materials to components alters their appearance and properties.
