Health and wellbeing: commitment to a personalised training plan
This unit will develop pupils' ability to design and carry out a training programme with a focus on physical fitness and commitment to exercise that is enjoyable and tailored. Pupils will also learn about nutrition to help support them in living a healthy and active life beyond school.
You will learn to master ways to deal with stress such as self-care routines and mindfulness.
Move: visualisation, deep breathing and positive self-talk help us to push through challenging exercises. Think: stress affects the body by increasing muscle tension and heart rate, reducing the effect of training.
