This unit will develop pupils' ability to design and carry out a training programme with a focus on physical fitness and commitment to exercise that is enjoyable and tailored. Pupils will also learn about nutrition to help support them in living a healthy and active life beyond school.
You will learn to recognise the importance of rest and recovery on muscle repair.
Move: restoring energy levels with effective rest and recovery enables us to participate with maximum effort. Think: knowing that sleep is vital for recovery, repairing muscles and restoring energy, boosts training performance.
