Outdoor adventurous activities: outdoor pursuits and team challenges
This unit will develop pupils' independence and team working skills through outdoor pursuits and challenges. It will challenge pupils to think about and gain competence in lifestyle pursuits that encourage engagement beyond school whilst also developing physical fitness and connection to nature.
You will learn to build trust in relationships so that others have confidence in you during team challenges.
Move: ensuring careful and controlled movements leads to success and prevents accidents. Think: following specific instructions about what to do enables the activity to remain safe and free from hazards.

Mistake: It is unsafe to be blindfolded. Correction: While there is an increased risk in getting injured, listening carefully to friends, trusting their guidance and being sensible will all help to reduce the risk level.
