Outdoor adventurous activities: outdoor pursuits and team challenges
This unit will develop pupils' independence and team working skills through outdoor pursuits and challenges. It will challenge pupils to think about and gain competence in lifestyle pursuits that encourage engagement beyond school whilst also developing physical fitness and connection to nature.
You will learn to plan a route to locate and identify a series of clues using mapwork skills.
Move: moving slowly when searching for locations and moving quickly when returning to base conserves energy. Think: accurately identifying matching photos through careful observation of the environment requires problem solving.
