This unit will develop pupils' independence and team working skills through outdoor pursuits and challenges. It will challenge pupils to think about and gain competence in lifestyle pursuits that encourage engagement beyond school whilst also developing physical fitness and connection to nature.
You will learn to solve a series of increasingly complex and physically challenging problems.
Move: carrying heavy objects effectively requires keeping them close to your body to avoid strain on the back. Think: explaining your rationale to the team allows informed decisions to be taken on the chosen strategy.
