Outdoor adventurous activities: outdoor pursuits and team challenges
This unit will develop pupils' independence and team working skills through outdoor pursuits and challenges. It will challenge pupils to think about and gain competence in lifestyle pursuits that encourage engagement beyond school whilst also developing physical fitness and connection to nature.
You will learn to work in a team to complete a sprint orienteering course.
Move: keeping our shoulders relaxed and our posture upright will conserve energy when running over longer sections. Move: driving the knees high whilst staying tall and pumping the arms will increase speed.

Mistake: It is too tiring to sprint the whole course. Correction: Strategise and plan who will take on what role and when to spread more difficult actions/moments among the team.
