Health and wellbeing: healthy leadership and effective reviewing skills
This unit will explore ways to lead, motivate and set SMART targets for themselves and others to help construct a meaningful fitness based activity. Pupils will also learn about some of the barriers to participation and how to review progress to help maintain motivation.
You will learn to be adaptable and flexible to the needs of your group, environmental conditions and changes.
Move: working at full intensity in a changing fitness session requires using the correct technique. Think: using initiative to adjust plans demonstrates quick thinking and adaptability.

Mistake: Pupils think being adaptable as a leader is when there is a forced change. Correction: Adaptability for an effective leader is when it is always happening and the leader is responding to how the needs of the group are being met and if the environment is working or not.
