Health and wellbeing: healthy leadership and effective reviewing skills
This unit will explore ways to lead, motivate and set SMART targets for themselves and others to help construct a meaningful fitness based activity. Pupils will also learn about some of the barriers to participation and how to review progress to help maintain motivation.
You will learn to communicate with peers effectively in a 1 to 1 task.
Move: moving into suitable positions and using positive body language enables us to communicate with others. Move: clear demonstrations of the correct technique enable us to lead bodyweight exercises.

Mistake: Pupils think leading is just about giving instructions. Correction: A ledaer also requires active listening and the time and confidence to provide feedback on what has been completed well and how things can be improved.
