Health and wellbeing: healthy leadership and effective reviewing skills
This unit will explore ways to lead, motivate and set SMART targets for themselves and others to help construct a meaningful fitness based activity. Pupils will also learn about some of the barriers to participation and how to review progress to help maintain motivation.
You will learn to demonstrate leadership skills in a small group.
Move: moving with confidence and projecting your voice, supports others to succeed. Move: being ready to move and respond in a variety of different challenges leads to success.

Mistake: Pupils think all effective leaders are loud and shout to be heard. Correction: It is common to hear a leader with a voice which is projected when communicating. However, there is so much to effective leadership beyond verbal communication, such as, active listening, knowing your team and showing empathy, to name a few.
