Health and wellbeing: healthy leadership and effective reviewing skills
This unit will explore ways to lead, motivate and set SMART targets for themselves and others to help construct a meaningful fitness based activity. Pupils will also learn about some of the barriers to participation and how to review progress to help maintain motivation.
You will learn to use self-assessment to reflect on your personal leadership skills, identifying strengths and areas for improvement.
Move: participating in activities with maximum effort allows for a fun review of leadership. Think: constantly evolving as a leader and working on areas for improvement requires reflection.
the process of evaluating oneself.
Mistake: Pupils think self-assessment is similar to being assessed in something. Correction: Self-assessment is an opportunity to reflect and does not count towards any assessment. It is positive.
