Outdoor adventurous activities: teamwork, fitness and movement skills
This unit explores skillful movement and physical fitness through teamwork challenges. Pupils will develop teamwork skills and understand both why and how to warm up for different types of physical activity.
You will learn to play simple games that help develop fundamental movement skills.
Move: performing fundametal movement skills accurately and consistently will improve performance in games. Think: following the nuance in rules is what makes games distinctive from each other.

Mistake: fundamental movement skills (FMS) are only needed at primary school. Correction: FMS underpin good movement in any activity and in wider life, so it is essential that we continue to practise and hone these basic movements.
