Outdoor adventurous activities: teamwork, fitness and movement skills
This unit explores skillful movement and physical fitness through teamwork challenges. Pupils will develop teamwork skills and understand both why and how to warm up for different types of physical activity.
You will learn to tackle intellectual challenges in a small group by thinking creatively and ensuring everyone is included.
Move: maintaining balance on the bench requires the centre of mass to stay over the base of support. Think: problem solving requires you to find creative solutions to complex tasks.

Mistake: Letting the more vocal students take the lead improves team outcomes. Correction: Outcomes are better if the voices of the whole group are listened to and considered.
