Outdoor adventurous activities: teamwork, fitness and movement skills
This unit explores skillful movement and physical fitness through teamwork challenges. Pupils will develop teamwork skills and understand both why and how to warm up for different types of physical activity.
You will learn to work as a team to solve a navigation task against the clock.
Move: precise movements in the right direction are achieved by always facing forwards. Think: negotiation involves critical thinking skills to reach a mutually beneficial agreement.

Mistake: Letting the most vocal pupils make all the decisions as they have the answers. Correction: The loudest people don't always have the best ideas. If you are a dominant character it is especially important to invest time in learning how and when to be quiet, to listen or to invite others to contribute.
