This unit will explore the relationship between health, fitness, exercise and performance before unpacking the different components of fitness. This understanding will include key definitions, how to test and train each but also which components are most important for different sports.
You will learn to apply protocols of specific fitness tests that measure agility and flexibility, and compare results to normative data.
Agility is measured by the Illinois agility test. The Illinois agility test is measured in seconds.

Mistake: Raising the knees in the sit and reach test. Correction: When performing the sit and reach test, the knees should be flat along the floor to give an accurate reading of flexibility.
